Everyone regardless of the size of their estate should also have an Advance Health Care Directive. This Directive should to be available to the medical care provider during a medical emergency.
Often directives get lost in such an emergency. To avoid this provide a copy to your primary care doctor or medical provider.
In California a copy is as good as an original and it is possible to have more than one valid advance care directive.
